The full list of organisations and individuals in contention for the most prestigious awards in HR and L&D has been released, with the announcement of the shortlist (see below) for the 2018 CIPD People Management Awards.
Designed to recognise and celebrate outstanding achievements in HR and L&D, and held in conjunction with People Management, the awards encompass 19 categories including two specific awards for student practitioners.
Categories will be judged by an expert panel with an overall winner chosen from the winners of all organisational categories, before being announced at a gala dinner in London on 25 September.
“The rapidly changing world of work presents new challenges for people management and learning and development, but these awards demonstrate that companies are serious about stepping to meet these challenges head on,” said Lizzie Crowley, CIPD skills adviser and one of the awards judges. “These organisations will be the standard bearers that will lead the way in people management and learning and development, and they should all be congratulated on their achievements.”
This year’s headline sponsor is Resource Management, while category sponsors include Cascade HR, Investors in people, Mindful Education and Willis Towers Watson.
