Leader in corporate wellness, Gympass, has expanded its offering to include access to digital wellness resources such as virtual workouts, nutrition programmes and mental health support. In addition, Gympass will share materials for HR managers to encourage their employees to remain physically active and motivated despite the challenges of the on-going coronavirus pandemic.
In this way Gympass is actively supporting employees to stay physically active and productive despite having to work from home and experiencing reduced access to fitness facilities.
The digital platform includes leading at-home workout apps NEOU and 8FIT, which employers can share with their employees to help them stay active amid social restrictions and fitness facility closures. These are the first apps to be made available and more will be added in the coming weeks.
The apps offer a choice of workouts from HIIT to yoga and include both pre-recorded and live streamed classes. The vast majority of the programmes are suitable for beginners and need no special equipment, enabling employees who are just embarking upon their fitness journey to engage in exercise at home. In addition, nutrition programmes and mental health support ensure a fully-rounded solution for people.
Gympass is adding further resources by working closely with its gym and studio fitness partners to incorporate their digital solutions to the platform and share their respective efforts widely on social networks.
“Gympass is committed to helping all its stakeholders and hopes that these digital wellness resources will support and motivate the employees of our corporate customers over the coming weeks,” says Pietro Carmignani, CEO for UK & IE at Gympass. “We believe this solution, combined with digital programmes from our fitness partners, will enable employees to keep focused on their physical and mental wellbeing despite the current difficult circumstances.”
